The University of International Business and Economics is a public research university located in Beijing, China. The university was founded in 1951, and had in 2015 more than twelve thousand Chinese students and more than three thousand international students.
The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) was listed for the first time on the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2020 in September 2019. It was ranked among the best 800 in the world, out of 1396 universities listed in 92 countries, and came 35th in China out of 81 universities listed. It was also listed as the best in the country in the field finance and economics.
