About me:
Thomai Filippeli is senior lecturer in the School of Economics and Finance of Queen Mary University of London. Prior to joining this university in September 2013, she was a lecturer at the University of Buckingham. She has a PhD from the University of Macedonia in Greece. Her research interests focus on international macroeconomics and applied econometrics. She has published research on foreign uncertainty shocks and their impact on the implementation of monetary and fiscal policy, on the relation between financial frictions and the determination of the exchange rate and inflation differentials in monetary unions.
