Petra Baji obtained her diploma in economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest in 2009. She specialized in finance, actuary studies, as her major, and in health economics as her minor. In 2009, she started working as a PhD researcher within the project ASSPRO CEE 2007, funded by the European Commission and coordinated by Maastricht University. Her research has been focused on out-of-pocket patient payments and willingness to pay for health care services. She obtained her PhDÂ degree in 2013 at Maastricht University. Currently, she is an assistant professor at the Department of Health Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest. Besides teaching in Bsc and Msc programs, she participates in cost-of-illness and quality of life studies as well as in health technology assessment projects. She is the author of 35 research articles and policy papers. She participated in various national and international research conferences and policy seminars.
