In my opinion video "Love Beats Hate" is more convincing. Because it is impossible to maintain peace and unity in the EU by supporting separatism. Any region of a country where a large part of capital is concentrated and still has great emotionality, historic grandeur and nationalistic ideas will have a desire to become independent. However, the EU will only be strong when all EU member states will pursue a common foreign policy, taking into account the interests of other countries.

There are very different movies with an opposite style. If you love drama or if you live in some similar region, you vote for number 1. I don't know if you switch the order of seeing what's happened...Anyway, I vote for number 2. We live in real Europe with real people with goods and bads. Sometimes we need drama for entertainment not for a realist decision. I love this world for his imperfection; I hate propaganda. EU and Spain are living organisms made by people, and sometimes they need adjustments, which can be good or bad. Disrupting a mechanism like this can be painful, but if you like drama...

I chose the second answer because I think that the last video purposes a more down to basic perspective. More exactly, in my years of Journalism, I learned that providing the correct pieces of information starts with being objective and take the facts as they are. A more emotional perspective like in the first video can be easily demisted, and can only feed negative emotions. In order to offer the best solution, one needs to analyze both parts of the problem and to be the culprit and the lawyer at the same time. Starting with how the video is constructed: exposing of the strong points from Catalonia, the girl that is the teller, and her image that is placed in great contrast with how the policies influence the life of the people in Catalonia, everything has greater chances to produce effects among the audience.

The Europe we know today was founded on the principles of the peace agreement that marked the First World War. The principles of the independent nations are very strong and their effects can be seen today. If it were not, Europe would only speak 3-4 languages now: Russian, German, French and English. If the principles of the independent nations were not applied then perhaps the Greeks would have spoken now Turkish. It's just an example. You may find many other! More and more nations have declared independence since the 1990s. The process is ongoing and it's normal. Having a multi-nation Europe does not mean that the European Union is weaker. So, I vote for Saving Europe. Save the Nations of Europe!

These videos are different. One of them characterizes Spanish government from the bad side because it solves the appearing problems from the position of hard power. On the other hand, this kind of mood in Catalonia can be spread as virus in different parts of EU. So, this question is very difficult. In the second video the life of a young boy and girl is shown. Catalonia is an old region which has many architectural monuments and posesses itself a culture and traditions of its own that are different from the other parts of Spain. Probably, this problem is about the opposition between different points of view on life.

Those two videos are so different. I choose Love beats Hate. The first one characterizes the Spanish gouvernment from a negative perspective and shows us the main bad parts of it, also it gives only negative emotions. The second video is different, it shows us how to appreciate the good things in Spain, it has a hard message but gives us a positive perspective. I think the main problem is how we see the life from different points of view.

In my humble opinion, the most convincing video is the number one. Spain lives really difficult times now. This Catalonians' referendum and sad actions that follow it may lead to catastrophic consequences. I, as the citizen of the country which is covered with the war, can state that exactly the first video has necessary impact to touch and persuade society to help, to make some decisions to omprove your situation. EUs' main postulates are freedom, democracy and independence and according to that, Strategic Communication is more affective in the first video because it deals with serious pressing issues that violate the basic principles on which the European Union exists.

I think that the authors of the first video has used too much emotions to influence on the audience. But I found my answer on ratio, so my choice is the second variant.

Talking of these two videos the second one is more convincing for me. It resembles me Revolution of dignity in 2014 year which occurred in Ukraine, my home land. Against all odds Ukrainian citizens spreaded a large-scale revolution in a desperate bid. As a result we won abolition of current authority that dressed up the truth all the way. That is why the woman's stirring speech won me over. We have experienced the same pain and arbitrariness of police and government. No one can assassinate for civil rights, human's opinion and peaceful demonstration. We live in the 21st century and tremendous pressure can be replaced by compromise. Both videos show us opposite sides of one thing happened and controversial oppinions. They give bright examples when police beats citizens and when citizens tip policemen through the metal fence in order to strengthen their oppinion. Nowadays it is really important to have a clear view of what is going on in modern world in order not to be trapped. Even peaceful and innocent video can hide propaganda and fair share of misleading thoughts.

In my opinion, the first movies is by far the best. Why i say that? Yes, its true that the second one is more peacefully. What i've noticed lately, not especially about Catalonia, but about people. When people see other aggrieved people, such as protesters beaten by police, tend to empathize with them, whether or not those people are rightly assaulted. More than that, the first clip makers thought this material very well. From the presenters who almost cried, until the violent images or dramatic music, all the things were very well thought out. On the other hand, the second video presents another perspective of Catalonia, a beautiful perspective. what makes the difference between the two clips are the small things listed above and the audience to whom the clip is dedicated. I was in Barcelona about 2 years ago and its a really nice city and in general Catalonia is a nice province. However as I said at the beginning, I think the first video is more convincing than the second one. And even if it is not convincing, if I didnt know the real situation there, it would make me think a little, or maybe a little bit more.
