I believe Agile-Management is the foundation of values, principles and practices that allows managers at all levels to plan and design work and create teams in a way that ensures high adaptability of business to changing market conditions and business environments. This approach is used to increase customer engagement, change acceptance, effective engagement, and contributing to results. Agile-management is trying to introduce mainly companies that are engaged in rapid and unpredictable changes in order to develop the most effective strategy that can be successfully used and quickly changed to solve problems and increase the efficiency and productivity of the enterprise. Agile-management has a particularly rapid application in companies that work in the field of high technology.

Yes, we need Agile. Any new project needs to be Agile. If somebody intends to start a new company, a new plan, needs to be flexible, to adapt to the market, customers needs. For you, your product can be fantastic, for customers can be useless. So how to know what they need? For a software developer, AB testing, and feedback from customers is making a rapid idea about the path he needs to step. For a company who wants to know and test input from customers, a crowdfunding campaign, before starting the real business, can provide results similar to an AB testing for a software product. Using a dedicated team, working in little steps, testing, improve the product after feedbacks, can move your project from a functional prototype to a desirable outcome.

My first interaction with the concept of an agile approach was at the academic program LEAD in 2017. During this program, I was involved in a series of small internships and workshops in top commercial and governmental programs of London (some of the were BlackRock, City Bank, Christie's, Bloomberg, Chatham House and even The Foreign & Commonwealth Office). All of them were using about Agile I had no clue about. It was as the essence for most of the projects in this companies. Interestingly, that Agile concept was adapted to the needs and goals of the project, so it could have different forms, but the essence of Agile was preserved. I have experienced the way Agile works and saw that projects done with this approach are much efficient. Besides, it gives you an ongoing control of the situation that is essential for strategic communication. Definitely, it is not perfect and has some space for improvements. As Winston S. Churchill once said, “Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others” and the same could be applied to Agile. As I have already mentioned it is extremely efficient, but not perfect, so I suggest working on the implementation of its approaches and tailoring it to meet project's goals.

Yes, we do! If you ask any successful businessmen or marketer, or even someone who starts his own case, you will get the answer that without a flexible and adoptable plan the things are not working out. Well such a plan is the most interesting part of the whole process. The world is changing all the time and if we need our progect is running well, we have to have agile skills because, in this case, it's the most important part. The ability to convert and transform the constant plane due to customer's needs takes a lot of time and efforts and not all the time may be successful. That's why marketers don't shy away to use Agile all the time in any cases. Consequently, Software development can not work without Agile.

After watching the second lecture, I’ve become absolutely sure in the necessity of reorganization and transformation of modern society( especially Ukrainian). I mean that the term “strategic communication “ and all its tools are a little bit overage. We do need Agile! This is the right way to change and develop all spheres of live. It opens more opportunities, because Agile Project gives power to every person who works , trying to achieve the result. It increases the role of leader ( not only a manager, and these are completely different things).Leader is not a boss, leader is a person who works and encourages others to work for the purpose. We need more leaders and less managers. The main rule is: “ responding to changes is over the plan”. Only such way of society transformation can boost the quality of social and after that political life.

After watching these 4 brief videos I demystified what is Agile and how does it work. I am pretty sure that Agile is one of the building blocks how to succeed in changing world and market. Personally, I have experienced this one during my participation in AIESEC organization. We have so similar Stand-Up Meetings that were called in another way: "Local committee meetings". According to its structure, we have iGV (incoming volunteer programmes) and oGV (outgoing volunteer programmes). Once a week we put together all the teams and our heads and provide check-in, discuss the most important topics or failures, analyse them and then check-out. It is really akin to Cross-Functional teams. If to extend the topic, we can adjust Agile to our daily routine and in this way practice our psychological sustaining power, eliminate overlapping of problems and simplify our attitude to life. I am sure, that the Agile principle is worth to be well-known and widespread either in software development or in other kinds of projects. I voted for the third one variant.

If we don’t respond to change, than we are not able to succeed in a turbulent environment.Agile is about helping all kinds of projects to stay competitive on the market. Due to the high organizational abilities provided by the agile methodology, this approach gives a clear view on the current position of the product on the market and the way it can be early improved for have succeed, by focusing on the user’s needs. This provides better decision making opportunities when prioritizing features or adding additional information. The prompt reaction and the ability to continually refine the product backlog is what make agile such a productive method of sustainable development.

Definitely, we do. Working as a software developer, I had the opportunity to apply this concept more in the projects I worked on. In IT industry, the resources are very important to be managed very well in a well defined interval of time because this means money. The technology is developing very fast nowadays and that's why is very important to keep up with the best solutions. Using Agile in project development suppose being more organized so that you could track more people which are working on the same project. Considering those advantages of Agile, I think that it should be applied in all kind of project for a better management and result.

From my standpoint, it was of interest to investigate the methodology of Agile as a set of values and principles, which priority is to create project teams that are capable of self-organization and work without constant supervision. In our case, Agile gives the foundations for our EUROSCI big team to make decisions that will result in better development, by doing our Agile we’ll help the other team-members to effectively communicate within our project as well as collaborate, respond to change and make the right decisions and harness a better competitive advantage. As far as Strategic Communication EUROSCI project was built around motivated members, it has created favorable environment to support our needs and trust. It serves as an excellent paradigm to convey the information for our face-to-face effective communication. So, let’s make our further decisions align with our values and principles, which our big multinational and cross-functional vigorous team has decided to follow.
