About the University:
Université de N'Djaména is a public university in Chad. It was founded in 1971 as Université du Tchad, and renamed Université de N'Djaména in 1994. The University has legal personality and financial autonomy under the high authority of the ministry of national education. In February 2020, higher education authorities manifested their intention to rename the university after Zakaria Fadoul Kittir, a well-known writer, academic and politician in Chad.
