About the University: 
In 1994 the Kyiv State University of Trade and Economics was founded on the basis of the Kyiv Institute of Trade and Economics. In 2000 the University was granted National University status. Its history dates back to the branch of the Union Correspondence Institute of Soviet Trade that was established in Kyiv in 1946.
