Founded in 1991, but with a history that dates back to 1951, Alexandru Ioan Cuza Police Academy is a public higher education institution in Bucharest specialised in public order. The Academy trains officers for the police, border guard, gendarmerie, and firefighting, at undergraduate and graduate level. It also has a doctoral school of law.
