Brexit, voice and loyalty

Members of an organization, whether a business, a nation, or any other form of human grouping, have essentially three possible responses when they perceive that the organization they belog to is demonstrating a decrease in quality or benefit to them: they can withdraw from the relationship (exit); they can attempt to repair or improve the relationship through communication of the complaint, grievance or proposal for change (voice); or they can accept the fact that their environment has changed and make no change to their behavior (loyalty). The EU is no exception, and the EVL game can help us understand its current developments.
