About the project:
Universidade da Coruña's International Summer School was set up in 2014 and offered a broad selection of three-week-long intensive courses taught in English by international faculty on a wide array of topics that ranged from law and business to science and technology. Dozens of teachers and hundreds of students from 40+ different countries participated in this experience. The initiative had a peak in 2016, with nearly 500 students in more than 20 courses in A Coruña, satellite locations in Iasi (Romania) and Vila do Conde (Portugal), and a net revenue of nearly a quarter million euros. Courses had an academic load of 6 ECTS credits, and were recognised by Universidade da Coruña and dozens of other univerities around the world towards credit for their own degrees.
