About me:
I am assistant professor in the department of social psychology of Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, and a member of its research group on social and cognitive psychology and psychometrics (COSOYPA). I also teach at Universidad Católica de Colombia in Bogota. My doctoral thesis on 'Political protest: motives and contexts', won the extraordinary doctorate award and was selected by the Spanish sociological research center CIS to be presented at a seminar on political and sociological research at Harvard. From 2011 to 2017 I was editorial assistant of the International Journal of Social Psychology. I have also been a visiting researcher at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, with a scholarship from Fundación Pedro Barrié de la Maza, and at the ISCTE-IUL of Lisbon and at the University of Groningen with a postdoctoral fellowship from Xunta de Galicia. My research career has basically focused on collective action and on environmental behavior.
