Book presentation at SNSPA

Primary tabs

Description:

On 17 March 2016 I participated by video conference in the presentation of the book on Euroscepticism I co-edited with Alina Bargaoanu and Loredana Radu. The event took place at SNSPA, was chaired by Alina Bargaoanu, and counted with the presence of distinguished guests, such as Ioan Mircea Pascu, vice-president of the European Parliament (SPD, RO), and Ovidiu Nahoi, editor in chief of Radio France International in Romania. I argued that Romania may be ending the stage of "permissive consensus" that was common in most of EU member states until the early 1990s, so we should see growing Euroscepticism in this country and an increasingly critical contribution of Romania to current debates on the future of the European Union.
